OK, Here's mine;

- Lightweight long slide 1911 in 10mm (for hunting, boonies protection
& range work). Must be dependable.

- 6" S&W J-Frame, 9 shot, 17 Mach2, with Weaver base for small red dot
(JPoint, Docter, etc.). Use for plinking, varmints and paper.

- Lightweight Makarov replica in 40 S&W. (luv my Maks). Use for range work,
sometime CCW.

I've got nine handguns, but I'd still like to have these.

What would you like to see them make and what would you use it for? Be realistic. No 600 Nitro pocket pistols please.

My list of guns I'd like them to make:
  1. FN 5 Seven copy in .22 Mag/.17 HMR
  2. A modern auto chambered in 7.62 X 25
  3. A high cap. .22 pistol

kjeff50cal

K-frames with improved metalurgy, so it can once again be offered in .357 Magnum with no worries about wear, loosening too quickly, or frame cracking. With the old workmanship.

My memory as of late has become rather crappy (lots of stuff've been crammed up there lately and knocked previous knowledge loose).
However, I do remember a nuclear .50BMG from Birdman... yeah, I'm rather fond of that!

Fear me, squirrels.... FEAR ME!!!

Snowdog

They already make a 50 BMG handgun

But is it nuclear? Birdman's was nuclear... gotta be nuclear 'cause squirrels will giggle otherwise.

  • A new autoloader from a US manufacturer chambered for 7.62x25
  • A Ruger-framed revolver with a S&W trigger
  • An autoloader or more revolvers chambered for .30 Carbine

some improved guns from yesteryear:

1. colt delta elite 10mm in a commander size and officer size.
2. colt mustang in 9mm.
3. a new garand in all stainless steel.
4. Hk P7 squeeze cocker in 45, but not as blocky and unbalanced as the .40 S&W version...
5. Hk .223 rifle (53-93) with a forged not stamped receiver.

just a few I constantly wish for... especially #1 and #2....

SIG P220 ST in 9mm

SIG P225 ST

Springfield Armory Mil-Spec in 9mm

A S&W Performance Center Version (not compensated) of the 640

  • A Walther P99 or P99c that I can afford
  • A FN Five-seveN with a .22LR conversion kit (wanna plink, don't want a second mortgage)
  • A "modern" M1 Garand (love the rifle, don't nessicarily need the one that stromed Normandy...)
  • The spiffy pistol used by Mal on Firefly
  • Zoe's mare's leg, also from Firefly

Smith & Wesson model 41.....in stainless steel. Complete with all the early accessories like detachable muzzle brake, weights, etc. (sigh)

I'd like an HK p7 in .45, except that I'd want it to be about the same size as the one in 9mm.
They tried, they really did and they couldn't make it work. I hear the Cobra .45 (or was it the Heritage Stealth?) was similar but it wasn't exactly an a-list pistol.

The experimental P7M7 pistol, chambered for powerful .45ACP ammunition, with gas retarded system replaced by the artillery-like liquid oil recoil retarder, never make past prototype stages, because of excessive costs and complexity of the system.

sounds like an exotic recoil reducting mechanism like the mercury/ball bearing harrt's recoil reducer... sounds expensive. H&K sounds expensive anyway

:uhoh: There was pistols that meet that general description (Kel-Tec P40, Taurus Millenium series .40) but not ones that are mechanically the same as a Makarov, that part of your request is unreasonable because of the limitations of straight blowback.

A double stack SIG P220ST or even just a standard 220.
A subcompact SIG firearm in 9mm (Kahr sized)
A seven shot Ruger GP100
Any firearm that would utilize a safety and trigger system as intuitive and fast as the HK squeeze cocker system.
