I got it in time to get the colt 44 with 51/2 inch barrel. I got the round barrel. $149.99 for shipping and everything. I have not been to the range yet. Looking forward to it. Not only has it been cold.......I have been sick with some kind of bug. Going into my fourth week. Suppose to warm up this week.
When it does I will be at the range.
Cabalas had a good sale. I wish the Howdah would go on sale. Sure would like one.
I was in the local Cabela's Saturday morning with a buddy of mine and our sons looking at the big stuffed animals when I remembered I needed some .45 JHPs for reloading. The bulk packed Remington 185 JHPs are the same price as the 185 grain Hornady XTPs! Is is just amazing that the Remington bullets have gone up that much, or maybe it is just Cabela's as a whole.
Cabela's is a rip on most everything.
Most on-line reloading supply places beat them on components.
Heck, even Dixie Gun Works is cheaper on cap&ball guns most times.
