Do you pay taxes (ha ha). Wont a tax form or several prove residence and the w-2 documents to go with them ie job. If a student-a univ ID, copy of grade report etc. or are you a wet?

Aren't you registered to vote? Do you get a postcard etc at election time saying where the current voting place is for your precent?

Print out the lease and have your parents fill it out for like a $1.00. Have it notarized at a bank and there you go.

I think you need two proof of residence a DL is one, I use my reg, a cell phone bill will work
do you go to college use their tuition bill

I'm a CA resident so I know what you're dealing with. I agree with those that suggested calling the DOJ. They've always been helpful with me. If you can't find a way to get a bill into your name that is acceptable to the FFL dealer (and the DOJ), then you might consider having a parent buy the weapon and transfer it to you via an "interfamilial transfer". There is a form for this on the DOJ website. You'll have to pay, I believe, $19 for the priviledge.
