California Residence

see my last post

email the state for the offical response. THey called. Said to have rental agreement filled out, didn't need a notary. I wanted to ask my question from the last post.

How hard is it to fill out a fake rental agreement with a fake signature. Why is that necessary when a California ID isn't proof of residence.:banghead:

I AM NOT SUGGESTING THAT ANYONE BREAK THE LAW.

But I didn't want to be the one who stirred the pot. So I kept that to myself.

The poor guy is having to rely on his parents for now. I don't think immediate escape is any sort of option.

I will

I'm graduating from college summer of 2008. I'll be in a better place by January of 2009. This is my first serious date question;

"I hate living here, it's crowded and there are too many illegal aliens, liberals, and gun laws. Would you be willing to move out of state?"

I ask this when things start to get serious. Last girl I went out with brought this up. She wanted to move to Indiana, and had a 357 revolver:D

One of the local gun shops in sonoma county won't sell to me because my address on my ID doesn't match my address on my lease agreement. It's their STORE policy not to accept the little change of address card from the DMV. Guess they don't want my money bad enough. I shop elsewhere, where the legal criteria and cash are all I need to make a purchase. I refuse to jump through any more hoops than I have to.

great news

I came home tonight to my parents sitting on the couch. The TV was turned off as I entered. Mom says, "So you can afford a new gun?" (I figured I was gonna get thrown out or something) Dad cuts in, "I told mom it's high time you start paying rent if you've got money to waste!"

Okay by me, I tried to pay them rent a month ago now that I could, just waiting to move for school to be on break. They didn't want my money a month ago, something was up.

Dad continues, "I've decided that you should start paying $$$ rent each month. In fact I made out this form for you to sign:eek: , I figure it should be offical that you rent here.":what:

Form says;
I <kungfuhippie's dad> agree to rent one bedroom to <kungfuhippie> at <address> starting November 1st 2006, For the sum of $$$ paid monthly on the 15th day.

I gladly signed the agreement and cut him a check, while trying really hard to not laugh my pants off.:D :D :D

Mom didn't understand why he needed a "silly paper":D but she was okay with me giving them money, I am okay with it too since I feel a little less like a mooch:)

Anyway the local chain is putting the PPK on sail tomorrow. I'll be down their after work.

Nothing wrong with being a mooch!
Now a sponge... that's another matter altogether! :neener:

i am betweent eaching periods and have only 3 mintues

so if someone alreayd answered sry for repeat

1. Get a bank account
2. wait 3 months
3. from then on you can supply 3 months of consecutive bank statements to prove proof of residency. any ffl in CA will take this as it is listed on the DOJ website as acceptable proof.

Cal Poly Pomona alumni here. Class of '02...I'm a Bronco.

Time to grow up youngster. Once you honor your folks, get that permission slip and grab a Glock 37. Be VERY grateful right now...free food, free rent, free ride...that's heaven.

Good luck and take some extra gun classes.
