I'm no help as I don't attach a special name to a gun. The makers have done it well enough to suit me. I will admit to having one I sometimes refer to as that "scatter shot thing' now and then and a rifle that sometimes get called "heavy b-----t".

I knew I’ve seen that color before. That ugly appliance color from the 1970s.
Maybe if you have color-blindness it appears as a lovely shade of gray.

I don't really name my guns but I kinda have nicknames for them that shift around at will. I call some of them by the names of deadly diseases, I got an AR I've called small pox and a glock I call cholera . there are others but I keep it informal.
