hi, the bolt action wby 22 is basicly an anschutz rifle with a weatherby stock.it came out about 2 years ago.i;m not sure which anschutz version of their action it is,maybe a 64.the bolt knob is plastic, which does not look too good.i have 2 weatherby xxII auto's, they are very accurate rifles, ive had them for 25 years. should shoot under 3/4" groups at 50 years, ive shot 1/4" ones at 25yds with mine with cci std ammo.you might be able to tighten that group with lapua or eley.those wby actions are very smooth & the guns are extermely well made! about 12 or 15 years ago, weatherby made an attempt at a bolt 22,it looked like a scaled down mk v with fluted bolt, same mk v stock,it was completely their own design, but the gun never materialized.the anschutz wby 22 is going for around 750 or so.it may be a bit more accurate than the auto.one more thing, the wby 22 auto's in mint condition are climbing in value, ive seen them as high as 800.00.the auto's first came out in the 70's,was discontinued & re introduced in the early to mid 80,s,then discontinued in late 80's.made by beretta in the early years, then howa in japan.hope this info helps you......
