My Brother Passed away recently and left me a Smith&Wesson M78G Co2 Pellet Pistol. It is the style where you put the CO2 cartridge in inverted Down. After you tighten the cap there is a peircer that you hit on a solid surface to pierce the CO2 cartridge that I believe fills a separate tank. Could be wrong on that. I just tried to install and pierce the CO2 cartridge and all the gass just leaked thru imediatly when I peirced it. I know the Gun has been Broke for a long time as we has talked about possibly having it repaired. It is a HUGE airgun with what looks to me about a 8 inch or more barrel and is quite heavy. It is marked Smith&Wesson Air Gun 177 Springfield Mass USA on the false Slide. Just wondering about maybe someone knows how to fix it or possibly a person that can repair it. Can't put up a picture right now as of yet. I recall shooting with my brother when the gun was operational and it worked great. Very accurate and seemed to be quite powerful. Thanks for any help. I have seen a few reseal kits does anyone have a recomendation on any of them.
