I had no leading problems with the RB load. And its about like a standard 22 load from a rifle barrel for noise. If shooting the 9mm load from a rifle make sure its making it out of the barrel with plenty of force. Or maybe better raise the load to 3.5grs of Bullseye.

I loaded the RB load in a 357 case with the bullet slightly showing and added a little Lee alox around the edge of the bullet and no leading. Plus they would cycle from the magazine. A 38 case wouldn't.

I had a Marlin 32 mag I just sold and had some 1.2gr Bullseye loads with a 76gr lead bullet and they were as quiet as a CB22 round but still went 960fps on the Chronograph. What a great poacher deer round they would have been if I were inclined that way.
Great info, impressive velocity from the 32 cal roundball. Exactly what im looking for really, 800-900fps and report like a cb cap would be great. Thankyou for renewing my interest in this project, very little information on this topic out there, i think its an old idea that not many have experience with anymore. Kind of a lost art. Im going to try a 360 RB with 2 gr bullseye in a 357 case and lube it with alox as a starter, i think a 357 mag rifle may be in the future. My buddies think this is the dumbest thing ive tinkered with for a while, but anyone who knows me knows i dont like anything "normal".

No, the 32 was a 76gr bullet intended for a 32acp load sold by Hunter Supply through Midway. A RB in 32 weighs around 45grs IIRC.

My 357 Marlin lever action is hands down favorite rifle/firearm of all that I own. Its not a mistake. The only regret I have about the 357 is taking so long to try and find a used one. I should have just bought new and been done with it. Even back in the 1990's folks that had 357 leverguns just didn't let go of them. I broke down and bought mine new in 2002 and it was my best purchase ever. Get one, you will NOT regret it.

Forgot to mention but Hodgdon TiteGroup is a fast burning powder like Bullseye and is supposed to be insensitive to powder position in the case. So if you want to try light loads give that powder a shot also.
