The pricing is about the same, and they tell people ahead of time if the prescription will fit the selected frame.
'jlr1962', they don't give exams, so why would you be concerned that you still had to pay for it? Technically, you should get an eye exam yearly anyway.
One concern I had it that I need a set of 'prescription' lenses for seeing the front sight, and another set focused at 'infinity' for use with red dot sights. He told me that the lenses are interchangeable, so I can switch lenses back and forth if I wish to.
Compared to pricing from all the eyeglass suppliers owned by the "Italian Eyeglass Mafia", the prices are VERY good....not to mention you get the best in terms of eye protection!
