HK P2000 - A Range Report 14 Years In The Making. Second Chances At First Love

The HK P2000 is my favorite looking pistol of all time. I bought one a couple of years ago. I enjoy shooting it, and carried it for a while, but always go back to the Glock to carry. I will never get rid of it. Although some probably disagree, I find it iconic.

I wanted to love my p2000. Got it with the light LEM trigger. Never could get used to it. I always thought a light LEM first pull followed by single action would be ideal. Went with a Walther P99AS and got exactly what I was asking for. Wanted to love that HK.

Tis quite interesting that its a love or hate type thing with LEM. I like the LEM yet hate all their DA/SA variants.

I didn't realize you were still carrying it. When I spoke to you months ago about it, you still had mixed feelings about it.

With the Hogue Jr (not the fullsize Hogue) grip, the P2000 grip is perfect IMHO. I love the way the gun feels inmy hand.

Yeah still swapping between it and the EVO (Depending upon what I am wearing that day.)
