Anyone have this? I have another thread about non 1911 45 and really liked what I've found about the HK45C. Would be a possible carry (that's why 45c vs 45) .

How are your exeriences? I'm considering getting it with the LEM trigger.

Thoughts and pics?!

As a matter of fact I do own one! I purchased a new HK45CT about 5 months ago. The day after I bought it I sent it in to HK and had the light LEM trigger installed. Mine came with 2 10 round extended magazines so I also purchased 2 8 round magazines for concealed carry. I also have a Crimson Trace LG-645 laserguard on it also. I carry it concealed in a Raven Concealment Systems Phantom holster.

I have shot a lot of 1911's in my career and the HK is without a doubt easier recoiling and to me more accurate than any of them. It conceals very easily with a tee shirt on.

I have 3 other HK pistols, but I find the HK45c the best of all of them for concealed carry and ease of shooting.

For other information, check out HKPro.com (HK only forum) to see what others say about the HK45c.

Probably the best non-1911 .45ACP on the market, I've owned a lot of .45's over the years and the HK45C ranks as one of my all time favorites. A pleasure to shoot, highly reliable and accurate. The only problem is that they are expensive, however I got a pretty decent deal on a used one in LNIB condition.

Thanks for the responses. I was shocked how little attention this thread was getting. Everyone seems to have a sig even though they're not cheap but don't see many HKs out there. I enjoy the sig but it just feels dated-in a bad way. (not like a good 1911). When I held a p220 next to a hk45c it was pretty clear to me which one I wanted.

Cwp-how do you like the trigger? (LEM)

I also really like the HK, but if you run into any troubles, I have heard their customer service may as well be a monkey in the corner.

I love the LEM trigger. I had the original LEM trigger in my P2000SK when I bought it, which was about 6.5 lbs. While it worked well, I wanted a lighter trigger. Eventually HK came out with what they call the light LEM trigger. It dropped the trigger down to about 4 lbs. I shipped it to HK and had it back in less than a week. The difference was phenomenal. Once I bought the HK45CT, I shipped it off the next day to get the light LEM trigger installed. I had it back in 5 days. Some people on the web seem a little nervous about the light LEM. In fact, on HKPro.com, there is currently a discussion going on about a person who has a light LEM and feels it's too light. However, for me, I much prefer the light LEM because I can shoot it fast if need be with much better trigger control.

Oh, and as far as the last poster, HK quality has improved dramatically over what it used to be. There are still a lot of rumors going around on the Internet saying HK CS sucks, but it's not true anymore. Good luck with whatever you get.

I bought an HK 45c two weeks ago and shot it for the first time Friday. I was resting my elbows on the counter because I wanted to check the sights. After two mags, 16 rounds, I could see only one hole in the target about 1/2 inch right of center. My first thought was that I can't be missing the paper at 10 yards, so I reeled the target in. There was one 3/4 inch hole for all 16 rounds. Either I was having an exceptional day or this pistol is more accurate for me than my three 1911's, USP 40, or my M&P 45. My groups spread a bit over the two hours I was there as I experimented, but it proved to be a very accurate gun, the best I have. I was shooting WWB and bulk Remington HP's.
