I have an ugly but perfectly functional .32-20 M&P Im not in love with if you still want one. Much cheaper than that, lol. PM me if interested.$300??? WOW! he should be glade you got it and he can look at it

a retired colonel here in my area has been off loading his AMAZING collection at a local shop. Factory Engraved SAA, Colt Snakes, Freedom Arms, HK semi-auto hunting rifles, Long Horn… was shooting at the range and he drop off 2 Les Baer.Probably too big. Prolly should sell some. Make it easier on the missus and kids when I bite that last projectile. Dang. That's difficult.
Unfortunately, all of my firearms are somewhere at the bottom of the Mariana Trench.
What I'm into these days:
why did you buy 2 exact sane one?
Because one in none and 2 is one?
The question comes up here and on other forums, "Does having the box make any difference?" (or some variation of that) Well, I probably wouldn't have bought that gun except for the box. Normally, I don't care for revolvers with a 6" barrel, especially a K-frame, 38, with the tapered (pencil) barrel. The barrels just look too long and skinny. I like a 4" barrel, with very few exceptions. That was one of the exceptions. Having that gold/blue box made the deal. I suppose I bought the box, and they threw the gun in. At one time I had several of those of boxes and the guns that went with them. One was a 1955, 357 (a "pre-27") with a 5" barrel, another was a 2" M&P 38. I forget what year that one was from, but it too was in the 50's. Those old gold/blue boxes catch my eye. Both of those were all matching numbers (frame, cylinder, and underbarrel, and written on the bottom of the box. Sometimes you have to hold those boxes just right to see the tracing of the numbers since they tend to wear off over time.WoW that box is different!
I see that question once in a while too. The only used gun that I bought or traded for that came with a box is my Colt DS, but it’s not the original box."Does having the box make any difference?"
What's the second photo?

To some the box is very important. To me, not so much.
I think having the original box shows a level of care for the handgun…maybe.
I keep my new handgun boxes, but I rarely keep my long gun boxes. I have moved so many times and room is money when moving so rifle boxes take up too much valuable space so I recycle them.
