Strong side holster. El Paso Saddelry for my S&W 357.
Nothing personal but how many miles have you hiked in that rig?My hiking rig
Many. Hiking is really the only exercise I do and we go out at least once a week. Its actually quite comfortable. The wide belt helps spread the load and it hugs the leg pretty good. I really dont notice its there after a while.Nothing personal but how many miles have you hiked in that rig?
Does the tanker style holster work out pretty well for you? I recently won a bid on GunBroker for a Ruger Police Service Six with a four inch barrel and have been considering one of these for "woods" bumming. Are you also wearing any kind of pack for gear? You also carrying a bow or rifle?
When i hunt with bow or rifle i carry crossdraw(left side butt forward). I have also carried in a ww2 tanker style holster as well.
Yes pretty good. If you dont have one with a wrap-around-the-body strap they can be a little floppy, but not bad once everything is adjusted.Does the tanker style holster work out pretty well for you? I have one of those I sometimes carry my Webley in.I use to have a Redhawk .44 Magnum that was a perfect fit in a British WWII khaki web holster made for a Webley Mk.VI with a 6" barrel.
