I have had several "Ruger" 10/22's and they were great, still have one in the safe. Then switched to the company that perfected the 10/22...KIDD!

I didn't know you could have too many. The most I bought at once was 6, for a gatling gun(s) project. Think I turned all but one, into something else though.

My SBR one gets used the most but my Clark custom one is the most accurate one I have.

I have just the one, a standard model that I bought new in '78. When I found out how accurate it was with the iron sights, I knew it needed a scope.. Found a old Weaver K 2.5 that I mounted on it; added a sling, and it's been good to go ever since. Picked up a Butler Creek folding stock and it's just as accurate as it is with the wood stock!

I own two of them. A 10/22 Sporter and a old stainless steel 10/22 with the boat paddle stock. The stainless lives by my my back door and has killed over 70 armadillos in my yard at night through the years. It's light enough I can hold it in my right hand like a pistol while holding the flashlight in my left hand. The stainless barrel shows up good at night from the flashlight and it never jams. Never had a armadillo get away.

I just have the one at the moment, a takedown model. The target or tactical 10/22 builds don't really interest me, so I've just kept it a simple carbine with tech sights.
I did modify an old overtons stock to fit it, and get a threaded 16.5" barrel. It's a simple, handy, and accurate rifle.

Ooooh, I like that!

I don't currently have one- and refuse to buy a new one thanks to the polymer fire control unit. Nope, can't stomach it.

But....my buddy has an older, all metal example that needs a little TLC for a couple hundos that just might have to come home with me. 🤔

I have had four, and that isn't enough. My last one was stolen unfortunately...But now that Washington State has tried to out commie California, we no longer can buy semi autos here. So until I move I am 10/22 less...

I really like the 10/22... except they don't fit me. The trigger reach is just too long for my slightly short fingers (large hands though). The Marlin 60 is my choice for a semi-auto 22 rifle.

Still have the first one I got in 1978. Cost a whopping $50. The only thing left on it Ruger is the receiver.
Would like to find some one to convert one of my Anshutz's to use the Ruger mags.

I've always considered the polymer trigger housing to be an upgrade. The tolerances are tighter and it doesn't wear like anodized or coated aluminum. When that aluminum starts to wear, it really looks like crap.

We have two 10/22's in our family, a blued one and a stainless one. One actually belongs to my youngest daughter. Both are pretty much box stock and shoot well.

I thought I had read an article that the lastest production 10/22s have gone to a polymer hammer- but I can't find it now with the Google, so maybe I'm mistaken....
I know the Steyr Aug has used a poly hammer for years, and some low-end ARs are going that way. Don't care how well they work, it's just gross. Lol.

Pretty sure they're MIM steel. I change all mine to Power Custom innards anyway.

I couldn't vote as I would not own a 10/22 as it comes of the box. I have 2 of them and they only retain the actions and bolts. The bolts have been faced to a true 90 degree angle and head spaced though and I have thought about getting one of the full stocked ones but have always passed because of the inaccuracy of the two I have when unaltered from stock Ruger.

I am very happy with the two after putting quite a bit of money and work into both. I know some get brand new rifles that shoot fairly well but neither of mine did. The first was so bad it spent about 25 years stuck back in a closet until I decided to make it into a shooter. The second was bought with the intention of it making into a somewhat different configuration than the first but I did shoot it unaltered before staring work on it. It was not as bad as the first but not something I would have carried hunting.

I couldn't vote either. No option for "all of the above". None of mine are stock either.

Just one. Had it since I was probably 10 or 11 years old. So over 30 years.
Somewhere along the way I swapped stocks and installed a bull barrel.
Now I have a Ruger walnut stock with sling swivels. Need to buy an aftermarket sporter weight barrel to go with the stock. Probably a Green Mountian. I'm over the weight of the bull barrel.

I have two. One from the 60's that was my wifes grandfathers. It looks just like it did the day it came home. I have one I built and even though it says Ruger the only part that is Ruger is the empty receiver, I like them both for different reasons. The one I built has become my favorite.

I’ve had a few 10/22‘s my original was given to me from my father and I still have it.
I haven’t changed it much over the years with the exception of optics changes and slings

When my grandson was born I found a nice deal on a carbine model. I’ll be teaching how to handle and shoot it.
As he grown‘s I’ll be modifying it as needed to fit him as.

I own 3. This one is my favorite by far. Tacsol SB-X barrel, lightweight suppressor, Brimstone Tier-2 trigger, Hogue stock, Vortex Diamondback 2-7x35, and several internal part upgrades. It is a squirrel taking machine.

I don’t know how to answer the poll though…is Magpul and Hogue considered “weird off brand?” Rugers’s 10/22 stocks suck…
