In KY, my class was $75, plus about another $75 for the paperwork.

I'm taking my class tomorrow for $90 in Wisconsin.

I charge $40 for the class and range time combined, but you pay the range fees and buy your own ammo. You can use any of my guns during the class.

I paid $100 for the NRA Basic Pistol course here in Connecticut. That's a low-average price. There are a few instructors that will do it for less, most charge $125 to $150ish.

Here in Oklahoma prices run from $40 to $100. Depends on who is putting on the class.

Three months later they did away with the CCW. :banghead: The law was changed to every legal person (no felony record) 21 years old and over can carry cc without a permit. Same for out of state visitors.

So i guess they are free now.

Wisconsins new Concieled Carry law go's into effect 11/1/2011.The state permit costs 50.00 for 3 years.I'm not sure what the training for the permit costs but if you've passed Wisconsins Hunters Saftey Course or are a honerably discharged veteran,no addidional training is required.thank you Govenor Scott Walker. biker

Mine was $80 for the class. I signed up through my local gun shop, so I'm sure they get a share of the profit, making the price higher.

Then the $90 for the permit.

Best money I ever spent though.

I took a class in Ohio that cost $65. I paid $85, though, so that I could do the range portion on a different day.

Nothing. There are no classes required for a CCW permit. Most people
here are handling guns from an early age.
