How to mount a sling on this?

Israeli Pattern would work just fine with no drilling.

You'd need the Handguard band, Paracord for the buttstock, and the Patrol sling and you'd be good to go.

Rear: rear end plate mount from Noveske on the lower
Front/Top: drill a hole in the handguard and install one of those DYI flush cup adapters.
Sling: Viking Tactics 2-point sling w/ QD swivel mounts.

There are a couple of different companies that offer sling points that locate with a single hole in the hand guard. You can add these to some butt stocks or use a end plate at the RE. Google is your friend for this.

On the 16" (my 3 gun rifle) with the sling, I wrapped para cord around the vented handguard between the vents, and in front of the vents. I wrapped over the short end of a Mamba sling, and now I have a 2 point without drilling the handguard (already has a stud for a bi-pod) or attaching to the barrel. The 20" HB is not vented, and since this pic I wrapped the forend with para cord. I have a temporary sling attached to the front gas block for now, but will remove it before shooting. I don't want to defeat the purpose for free floating the barrels in the first place.

Drill and tap the free float tube and put a sling swivel stud on the tube. Why install a free float tube to keep the barrel free from any external influences then attach a sling to the barrel to put tension on it that will not be consistent from shot to shot?
