A buddy of mine has one. He loves his. It was an interesting transition from their military to their sporting rifles. The rear sight really points back to its military origin.

mini range report

Sorry this has been a long time coming but I finally took out my HK SL6 yesterday and put 60 rounds through it.

I purchased a Zeiss 3-9x40 MC Conquest scope for this rifle and I think it was the right choice. I am extremely happy with the scope and how it performed yesterday, I am also extremely happy with how the rifle performed as well.

At 100 yards the gun seemed plenty accurate and once I got the scope dialed in I was making fairly decent groups. I didn't bother pushing it out past 100 yards I was just interested in seeing how the gun felt to shoot and get the new scope pretty much sighted in.

Overall I am extremely impressed with this rifle. The trigger is fantastic the recoil is very mild and it's very easy to stay on target after each shot.
