I redid my stock on my 10/22.

The factory finish. I couldn't see grain very well. My pic don't show it much though. Before and after pics.

Im hooked on shooting and reloading.

I have an old WALNUT 10-22 stock to refinish. Sorry about the shout but standard walnuts are rare.

I think it looks good. Way better than the factory finish. I have redone a few hardwood stocks and they always look better.

Im thinking about doing my mini 14. It has a very light finish on it. Thinking ill do it in min-wax gun stock 231. I used it on my Mosin.

My 10/22 is an early one with the walnut stock. I am leaving it "stock"!
