I for one am glad these idealistic kids are tilting the windmills for me so that I can sit peacefully at home and enjoy my middle age.

"The world has changed a lot since the 70s." True. These two teens, and their Mom and Dad, are to be commended for supporting RKBA in a less than friendly atmosphere given the negative press attached to fire arms.

Rather than "drawing attention to themselves" as someone in the article was quoted as saying, I see them drawing attention to a right all of us are entitled to.

Hats off to 'em! If I were fortunate enough to live in an open carry state, I would do the same.

John Dunlap, commander of the American Legion Post 143, said he asked Zach to leave the Legion at a recent lunch because Zach was carrying his gun.

Almost makes me ashamed to be a Legionnaire. I didn't serve my country in a combat zone so our citizens could be denied their Second Amendment rights at the legion hall. If my local post did this, they'd hear from me.

Also seem his family had to move from Washington state due to quite a few on going lawsuits and violations of the child labor laws in Washington state.

After reading more about that I believe thats a big crock of BS.....If I want my child to help me on the job site then whats it any business of the state.

Its getting out of control, soon enough your average farm family is going to have to hand out W2s to their children to keep the state happy.

BS.....
