Any one of the ridiculous laws on importation that restricts the number of foreign parts it can have.. That's just silly. Any of the ludicrous CA laws. Bullet buttons are downright criminal, not high cap "assault clips."

National "constitutional carry" would be mine, too. It wouldn't have a significant impact on me personally, but IMO, it would serve the greater good immensely.
1 - The ability to carry anywhere if you have a permit. Any State. Any College Campus.
2 - Not having to worry about 922R. I just want to put a new stock on my FAL, I don't want to have to replace the forend, and the FCG, and the gas piston....
3 - No more regulation of SBS/SBR. I have a single shot H&R Pardner that I would love to turn into an SBS.
4 - Did I already mention that it would be great if I carry anywhere?

The post about the 2A trumping all gun laws is the best idea so far.

Since the OP did say ONE law, and not "a series of laws", I would have the barrel length of rifles limit removed.
All Federal laws ruled unconstitutional and left for the states to deal with.

+1 If we are only getting one law changed.
If we are going for a total change of mindset, I'd hold out for a Ron Paul-like restoration of the entire Constitution.
I'd go one further and say it should be charged as High Treason. But, really, I'd rather see one "Format C:\" from the Supremes declaring the 2A overriding, and all Federal/State/Local bans Unconstitutional.Vern Humphrey said:

I would like people to start using their brains and realize laws can't actually do anything and that dangerous people are dangerous no matter what the law says.
Ok, I have officially decided on this. If them (anti) liberals don't like our Constitution, than they can just go live in almost any other country. Or go to jail.
Barrel length is regulated ONLY because handguns were included in the bill that eventually became NFA of '34.
The idea was to keep people from converting long guns into concealable "hand guns" with a hack saw. Handguns were removed from the bill at the last minute due to pressure from the NRA and the general public but all the regulations aimed at preventing conversions of long guns into hand guns such as short barrels and removable butt stocks remained. This makes NO SENSE in a country where you can still buy a handgun that is far more concealable than any cut down rifle or shotgun.

California should drop the "not unsafe" "approved" handgun roster. Sure would make acquiring quality S&W wheelguns a lot cheaper & easier.
