I could have asked this is Legal since it covers law, but I figured most of the guys knowing the answers would be in here.
My question concerns firearm tag limits on either sex, or antlered deer limits in Illinois.
Is it possible for a landowner to take two antlered deer with a firearm? In other words, obtain a second permit after the first is taken?
Yesterday I got a little anxious and took an 8 pointer that was a bit less than my expectations, and now I see there is a big 10 pointer running the same area. The meat will only help, but I'm wondering if I can somehow obtain a second permit online and take another buck. I didn't really find where to look online covering this specifically.
I used a shotgun, so if my only option now is to get a permit for muzzleloader season, that would work as well. I also have a pistol I can use. I just want to get some more buckhunting in however I can without using a bow.
Thanks.
