Committee Chairman has made a statement that the Semi auto ban will not be called during the lame duck session.
This could be a ruse or it is dead and must be reconsidered when the new congress reconvenes.

The NRA lobbyist gives regular updates there, and keeps everybody informed of the latest tricks.
