If you do your part, the 9mm will do it's, regardless of the bullet type. Certainly, some bullets are better than others, but they will ALL kill you if you get hit in the right place.
is a 9mm too limited?
Thats pretty dated information and no longer accurate at all. Just recently I even saw a letter from an engineer at I believe it was Winchester that specifically said they recommended the 147gr round for short barrel 9mm's as the best performer. Go out and take a look at some of the denim covered gel tests for any of the modern 9mm jhp's.I would also stay away from 147gr... these are great in long barrel submachine guns, but they don't have the velocity to expand well out of a small pistol.
How would you create such a chart?Is there anywhere I can go to find a chart (or official statistics) concerning the most powerful (read "effective") round available for the 9mm?
