I answered yes because I thought it was the best choice among the options. I admire the simplicity of the Glock, something sorely lacking in the newer metal chassis plastic frame designs. And I consider simplicity a very important attribute in a combat handgun. I don't consider the Glock the best combat handgun in every category, but I know of nothing better overall today (or even something designed prior). A better combat handgun will likely come along some day.
All that being said, I'm not a huge Glock fan and don't shoot the Glock all that much. I choose to shoot other pistols for other (non-combat) reasons.
