I registered on-line and did the $0.0 order in the web-store for the "free" soft case. Haven't heard a peep back from them, but its not been but a couple of months. Anyone else register and actually get the case?
Got a tracking number from SIG via Email, seems my "free LEGION - 5.11 - PREMIUM ZIPPERED PISTOL CASE" is on its way.
Hopefully you get the right one.
Rather than a coin and case for my 226 Legion, I received both for a 229.
Not that I care, wasn't planning on using the case anyway, only my Wilson has come with a case I've actually used after the first opening. The rest just sit in a pile in my basement.
I wish they’d give you a choice. Do you want a case and coin or a free magazine.Hopefully you get the right one.

I’d take the magazine. I don’t use the case either. And the coin? No idea what the hell to do with it.
Yep. And I use the "plus 2" 20-rounders as my spare carry mags.Truth, though with my 226 I don't even use the OEM magazines anyway, Mec Gar 18 rounders work perfect, hold +3 and are cheaper.
I’m not sure cerakote could be considered an improved finish compared to PVD.
I too prefer the color of the older PVD-finished Legions. The newer finish is, I believe, Cerakote "Elite" which supposedly holds up pretty well, but I have no experience with it. I'd rather have the tried and true Nitron finish myself.
Once upon a time (early 1970's in a galaxy far far away (New Jersey) I used to repair cameras, specifically movie cameras. there was a line of cameras that had a big lead weight in the grip that added heft and "balance".I don't know one way or the other but I do find humor in adding tungsten to a poly pistol to deliberately add weight.
Muzzle-flip... balance.... whatever - it is still funny to me.
