Build date was March, 1979. 12ga with 28" VR barrel and fixed mod choke. It's in 90% plus NRA condition and I can't wait to try it out on a few hundred clays! I've owned over a half dozen of these and the wood on this one is gorgeous, better than the others. Oh yea, the best part, I got it for $200 bucks!!! :D

Did you wear a mask when you stole it??!! Your photography skill is awesome to boot. You did very well Sir! Congrats!

hehehehe!!! Can't tell you the last time I scored a good deal, this has been a rare week for me!! I could hold 9 lottery ticket to a guy holding 1, he'd win!!!

Photography is my second love, next to shotguns and shooting. Thanks for the compliment...

Looks familiar. I have two just like it. As a matter of fact...I'm checking my safe when I get home because I haven't shot them in a long, long time. :scrutiny:

shooting an 1100 is heaven to me. I've owned three Beretta gas guns and a Browning Gold Sporter. Owned a few 1100's, but this is the oldest and the best of the lot. Last of the first generation guns.

Most new shooters scoff them and swear by Berettas as the softest shooting autoloaders known to man. To me it's all present day BS. I wouldn't trade my 1100 in for any other autoloader. Long live the rubber O ring!! ;)

EMC45, not a shotgun, just a nickel Colt SSA. I sold the gun, but could never really capture a good image because of the reflection off the nickel. Anyway, I think I cracked the code. It sold in less than a day!! Just thought you would enjoy a few pics.. :)

Looks like the one I just got from my dad, his is an 82 model that had maybe 50 rounds through it. Mine is a Magnum though, so need to get a good skeet barrel and have more fun

Hello friends and neighbors // Outstanding wood!

I rarely see furniture that nice and never for $200, good eye.
I'm glad it belongs to someone who appreciates both the shotgun and the wood.

Did you bargin them down or was $200 the asking price?
Reguardless, Congrats on a great find.

Thats a real good looking one,
i just got a bargain too, £90 in UK ($150 ish) friend of a friend, cheapest on gunbroker in uk was £325 (with same damage)
Downside is the forend has a crack about an inch long, LHS at the rear.

Detail stripped it at work after a 50bird shoot, looked like the internals havent been out for a few years!
Cleaned it all out nicely, just did a 150 bird day and she ran like a dream!

Hammer needs swapping, might put plastics on if I cant find a good forend, other than that she's good!

someone did a very nice job on the wood. im almost positive that its been refinished. those striations come from sanding down to wood. either way its all around a beautiful weapon!

I beg to differ janobles, that is the original finish, without a doubt. No way the checkering would still be that crisp if that gun was refininshed. That's just some gorgeous wood. GREAT steal Slugo, I'm jealous!

Correct-O-Mundo it's the original factory finish. The gun is whole and never been tinkered with, except replacing the infamous rubber O ring!! :)

That figured stock is beautiful!

I just picked up one in almost, but not quite, as nice condition a coupla weeks ago. Had to give $365 for it, and am still happy with the price - cuz I bought mine honest, didn't steal it like you did! LOL!

Now I'm looking for an 1100 in 20 ga for my wife. So I can have my 12 back....:D
