After reading many posts about Mr Reeves and Mr Norris, I have reinforced my agreement with Mr Heinlein.
"The United States had become a place where entertainers and professional athletes had become mistaken for people of importance."

I enjoy a Chuck Norris joke as much as the next guy but I never have put much stock in what someone who either plays pretend, or plays a children's game for a living have to say about my life or politics.

But they do have a public platform, and there are those who listen, so I do appreciate when they support the things I support.

At my age, it's hard to remember that far back clearly. After reading the article where he made those comments, my feelings were that he can go peddle his movies elsewhere. So, no cite. It has been too long.

IMHO, it really depends on how he acts.

The whole time I was thinking the same thing. That's rule number 1. Didn't even demonstrate that it was cleared

It was stated that the guns were rendered incapable of bring fired before the start of the training.

There are some techniques which can not be effectively taught without being able to view it from certain angles

LOL seriously. It's Taran's shop and Taran's staff and Taran's gut... I'm sure fuzzing out his face will be effective.

More than anything else, I'm pretty sure that it had to do with the instructor not having signed permission to have Taran and his staff appear on his video.

You can see the footage that Taran was shooting on Taran's Youtube channel...he has been doing this long enough that he gets everyone to sign when they show up

My educated guess would be that it was either misstated or misunderstood before it appeared in a written article. I would even venture to guess that is came from the same article linked in Post #5 where he stated, "Personally I don't own a weapon."...so he, as a private person, does not believe in owning a gun

...he asked to learn a new martial arts style he didnt cover in The Matrix, hence the Judo style of fighting.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu...specifically the Gracie style
