Do any of you have a CP33 with a red or green dot sight? Which ones would work well for this gun?

TruGlo TruTec's come with a pic rail mount option and were on sale last year on Midway for $80. Keep an eye out for them on sale, they seem to get price drops frequently.

I have a Swampfox Optics Kingslayer with a green circle dot reticle on my CP33. I sighted it in at 25 yards and can easily hit clay birds out to 100 yards with one shot. I normally shoot CCI AR Tactical 40Gr RN which has proven to be very accurate and and feeds well too.

Not in the photo is my Tandemkross Game Changer Pro compensator. The comp actually works well to keep muzzle rise down to a minimum. I figured that it would not make much of a difference but it did.

I do wish the CP33 was made for direct mounting of micro dots since having to use a picattiny adaptor does raise the optic a bit more than needed over the bore.

Here is my CP33 with the Kingslayer.

I have a spare Kingslayer kicking around that I could put on my CP33, so if I don't end up selling the gun I just may give it a go.

Give the Kingslayer a try on your CP33. I think you will like it. I know having the Kingslayer with the circle dot reticle makes it fun shooting clay birds out to 100 yards. And the accuracy of the CP33 surprised me when I was shooting it from a rest while sighting in the optic.

The Kel-Tec CP33, PMR30 and CMR30 are not for everyone due to the shape and size of the grip. And there is nothing wrong with that. I still say give it a try with the Kingslayer mounted before making a final decision.
