The local gun store got in a Kel-Tec KSG shotgun.
The store owner and manager both wanted the gun, they said I could have it for $1,000, although the gun is selling locally for up to $2,000.
(My being one of their best customers had something to do with it :) )

I let four people at the store shoot the gun. All said they wanted one ASAP.

This is it, along with it's normal load of nineteen 2 inch 00 Buckshot shells or fifteen 2 3/4 inch shells.

Due to recent shoulder operations I'll be shooting the gun from the hip for a while. That's why I don't have a sight on the top rail.

Even though I'm not a fan of forward vertical grips, installing the grip on this gun works good for me.

I've been shooting the gun for a couple days and evenings (Streamlight TLR-2 laser/light) and I'm very impressed with it, in every way.
Red dot and a bunch of holes. Very deadly and fast.

The gun loads and ejects from the bottom.

There are two magazine tubes and a selector. Either magazine can be chosen or both mags can be blocked and single shells loaded in the chamber.

Even though I have six or eight shotguns, I'm not really a "shotgun person".
Such as my HD and car guns are rifles and handguns, with the shotguns running a distant third.

But I have to admit this shotgun could well become the first choice for HD.:)

I'm looking forward to trying one of these out as soon as the price drops to at least MSRP! Good find.

They sell online out here for about 12-1500, an interesting gun no doubt, but still a kel tec, Remember your only paying for hype. Thats gone in 5 years.

Although, them darn sub 2k's still bring in an awefully big profit... Still... I wouldnt.

What about adding a very long barrel since it is a bullpup?

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of being a bullpup? I will go ahead and second the post that said shooting birds was not an idea that influenced the design of this one.

Since you had surgery, instead of firing slugs from the hip, why not shoot some VERY light target loads - as in the Win AA running 980 fps - from the shoulder

Yeah, I'll be working into it. I'll be shooting light loads first. I'm shooting .223 from the shoulder now.

Darn shoulder tears are so painful and take so long heal I don't want to chance damaging the shoulder again.

This is the third time I've torn the rotator cuff (both arms). I don't want to take any chances before the shoulder is fully healed.

That's why I'm getting volunteers to shoot the heavy stuff from the shoulder.:D

I know it's not for trap...just messin. Be interesting to see people's faces when you did bring it to a trap club, with something like an Eotech or Aimpoint on it

I would like to have one of those shotguns. I hear you on shoulder injuries. I have torn both in the past, in the gym. Former powerlifter here.....chris3
