Mine (9mm glock19) has almost the same set up as yours, but I used a grip similar to this one:

and I added another short rail section on the left hand side and attached a BLACKHAWK! mag holder to it:

Sweet!

It's a great all round weapon, fun, easy to shoot, and great for beginners. I've found that handloading for subsonic gives it such a quiet report that I have twice had people thinking I had a squib.

edited to add:

Oops- I just realised that's an old pic- I've since added a different (UTG) light/laser combo, and picked up a pair of 30 (33?) rd mags that are only marked "PW", but so far, work fine.

Nice setup Gunny, I love the BLACKHAWK mag holder. Where did you pick it up? Can you give any details on how the rail was added for it?

These are a lot of fun. We filled a 50-gal drum with water and put 30 rds of hardball through it in about 10 seconds, it was a sight to see.

I need to do a little research to see if these are legal to carry under the seat with Missouri's concealed-carry in a vehicle law.

As I reported in another post the Korean mags did give me a slight issue, however I think the problem might be the tension of the spring being a little to strong. I loaded the magazines prior but still had some problems. The only other thing I noticed is that the rounds coming off the magazine appear to be catching the front of the mag on their way toward the chamber so I just sanded them down a touch to prevent snagging. Next time I go out we will see if that solves the problem.

Hold on there! I never got past E5- the Gunny in my sig was our company Gunnery Sargent, on the subject of duty...

I just drilled a few holes in the side of the forestock, and through bolted with washers. the rail section was a no-name metal one out of a box on a table at a gunshow.

The BLACKHAWK! mag pouches come on a belt clip that can be removed so they can be mounted on a Picanny Rail. Which when I first noticed it, I couldn't figure out whether it was stupid or brillant (I mean, why on earth would I want a pistol mag pouch mounted on a rail?) but now I think it's a pretty handy trick.

It makes a great truck/trunk gun (local laws permitting)- grab it and go, 60 rounds good for minute of goblin at 100 ft, all in a package that goes in a small bag, no belt or pockets required.

Edit to add:

I also took a piece of soft foam insulating tape (for taping pipe/tubing insulation on AC installations) and put it on top of the stock for a more comfy cheek weld.

If/when you get ready to part with that 9mm give me a ring!

I hope to make it to a gun show this weekend to get some of what I need. The Sig Sauer laser/light is on back order. Hope to post pics of this one soon.
