My Kimber 25th ann. just came back from Robar and I am very excited. They did outstanding work on the pistol. I had them do a two one finish with the frame Roguared and the rest NP3. I had them Stipple the front strap which I really like the feel of. They installed a Meprolight front sight to replace the stock front. And I had them install a Wilson Combat main spring housing. I installed a set of Davidson grips on the gun. They also NP3ed three magazines for me (2 Kimber, 1 Colt). I am really looking forward to getting this gun out to the range. I cannot wait to send in my Kimber TLE. I think I will have them do it in the reverse of this one. The only thing left is to see how it shoots. :) :)

Had them refinish my USP years ago and it still looks like they just did it. So much easier to clean. Slicked the action up also. Would like to get another gun done just keep speding the $ on new guns rathr than the old ones.

That's one fine, fine looking firearm. They did a great job, didn't they?

Did they work on the slide and is it stainless?

I have a stainless slide on my Kimber and I wish I knew how to deal with those pesky lil tiny scratches I keep getting in it.

I like the stippling effect and idea on the front of the grip frame.

Can you shed a little light on the grips...where bought, material, etc.?

Once again....nice job, indeed. :)

Very nice looking. Kimbers year markings don't add anything, IMO.

What was the turn around from Robar?

Are those LD's "lizard Skin" style grips?

TIA
