Anyone know? I've looked through the statutes and can't find anything specific... but I'm assuming that as long as its not 'concealed', it's legal to have a handgun, rifle, or shotgun in the vehicle compartment.
The reason I ask, is that I'm planning on making a rack on the back of the front bench seat in my car to hang a single rifle or shotgun on. Though it's not going to be as visible as a gun rack for a pickup, I can't imagine anyone considering it 'concealed'. Anyone with any thoughts or specific knowledge on this?
