I know sooner or later that I will probably break a decapping pin. I load .223 and have the Lee Deluxe die set. I want to buy a spare decapping pin but do not know which one to get. Is there a difference in the pins? Any help would be appreciated:confused:

Lee Universal Decapping Pin should work for you.

To prevent pin breakage, I don't apply too much tension on the collet (just enough to push out the primer). So when I get Berdan primed or military crimped cases, the pin just get pushed up in the collet instead of breaking.

If you mean the decap pin in the die itself, it is made only for .223 caliber. The rifle decappers also are the expander, so it is sized for the caliber.
You can get a replacement from Lee Precision, there is a Service Parts link beside the part number for the dies, or call them and ask. Price is not more than a few dollars.
