Considering a DPMS LR-308L, with an eighteen inch lightweight barrel. The company's product description says it's designed for "quick handling and single-shot accuracy."

I like the relatively light weight of the rifle, but I'm concerned that the trade off for less weight will be a thin barrel that flexes and "strings" as it heats up. I don't want a semi-auto if follow up shots are going to be inaccurate. Anyone have any experience with this rifle? Speculations?

don't talk to abs or Mike Degeneress

unless of course, you want him to take your money, be a year late delivering the product and not return your phone calls
