Lube tip.

I have had good luck with Hornaday's Unique resizing lube.

Apply it with your fingers (no pad required). Wipes off easily or can be tumbled off using dry media.

I haven't found an amount that was "too little". That's why after resizing 11,000+ cases of .223 Remington/5.56, I'm just starting on my third tub.

Guys, he's talking about the ram on the press, not the brass cases.

I'm not so sure One Shot is a good idea for the ram or moving joints either. RCBS recommends a heavier viscosity lube. I usually just use a good gun oil like RemOil which works well for me. I just feel One Shot is too thin and won't last very long.
Yup.

I use/do whatever the mfr suggests.

Redding for T-7 says “periodic lubrication of all moving parts….” And “Simply use a good grade gun oil on all pivot points and make sure ram is free of contaminant build up and is lightly oiled.”

Lee for classic turret says “Lubricate ram and all pivot parts with a lightweight oil—gun, sewing machine or any weight motor oil will work. Avoid water displacing oils such as WD-40. Coat bare metal parts with oil for storage like you would for a fine firearm.”

I was trying to remember the brand, and I finally did! Are use a combination of a CLP stuff that is made by break free. And then someone shot. It can be slightly messy at first, especially if the ram is very dirty. But, that has worked very well for me. So far. But then, I haven’t tried mobile one for that application. It sure works good for other stuff. I wonder why I didn’t think of trying it? :)

Try Hornady's "Oneshot" on the ram.
Lasts a long time!

The reason I tried "Oneshot" was I thought it wouldn't collect dust/dirt as easy as other lubricants.
My Rockchucker gets taken apart, cleaned, greased and lubed at least once a year.
It spends the summers in the garage popping spent primers.
Not as clean of a place as the reloading room.

I had been using a light coat of grease. But lately I've been using Johnson paste wax. It doesn't stay wet, so it doesn't attract so much of the primer grime.
