I would think it's important that as many gun groups as possible file amicus briefs. We surely don't want them overwhelmed with briefs from the Brady Bunch and Company.

This is probably the only chance for me to have a few of my words actually read by the Supreme court

Maybe more important to have a high quality brief to file in the first place. And just printing them is not cheap.

This is going to be a consortium of groups contributing to this so there will be a fair amount of cash flowing into the project. The aforementioned money being raised for Maryland Shall Issue is just one small part of the total.
