So, here's the deal. This 469 is feeling decidedly unfulfilled. All it would take is one good magazine... - maybe two - to complete her.

She's not fussy about looks or color but is intent upon a lasting relationship based upon capacity and quality up-bringing.

Can anyone help her out with a nudge in the right direction? She can't wait to get out and make sweet music with that special magazine.... or two.

DON'T Judge!

I have a 10-round Daewoo DP51C magazine which I was TOLD has been modified to fit a S&W, but Ive never verified that Youre welcome to it if you want to give it a try, Todd. Just PM me the address.

That might be an interesting project.

I had modified Hi Power mags for customer's S&Ws before but they were all standard capacity Browning mags.

If successful, you may be able to find more Daewoo/Lionheart magazines more easily than S&W mags. I know the last time I looked, compact 2nd and 3rd Gen mags were unobtanium.

So then, among the heels-up thinking while I'm on the internets, I noted in response to @NIGHTLORD40K that I had worked Hi Power magazines for pals' guns in the past.

I didn't even contemplate it for this until after I typed the response. then, I grabbed a standard cap Browning mag and was surprised at how little it protruded.

Considering the best mags had finger-tangs integrated into the base-plates anyhow.... And, noting my intent for this is to build a tribute-gun after Applegate's Devel.

So, I'll give NIGHTLORD's mag a try as well as a Mecgar Hi Power.

Toss a Beretta 92 baseplate on that to really up the ugly. They'll fit and I used them for my spare mags when I had a BHP
Good to know, thanks.

Not sure if you’re interested, but there are a few for sale on EBay, but they are proud of them.
I saw them but they are 10-rounders. If the inlet corresponds with the cut on Level magazines - they still might work.

So as a second gen, how different is the magazine from the third gen 6904/6906 double stack 12 rounder with the pinky rest? There was just one for sale here on the accessories section.

For what it's worth (S&W auto experts will know better than me) Midway lists several as *compatible* but they are out of stock anyhow.

From Midway's advertisement:
"Smith & Wesson Magazine S&W 469, 669, 6904, 6906, 6924, 6926, 6944, 6946"

Second and third gen 12 round mags will interchange, pinky rest is just for larger hands. 5900 series flat bases wii fit 6900 series magazines.
