A few other pictures of stuff. Most of it I've gotten rid of. I used to be interested in the long Enfield's.
There's a photo of two 1903's with two original (there are no repro's being made of this type of magazine) U.S. 25 round extension magazines of the type issued with Air Service rifles and that were beginning to be used by soldiers in the trenches.

The target or competition rifle with the muzzle cover removed. This rifle has had the front band modified for its intended purpose by having the stacking swivel and lug removed. The rear target sight pictured mounted in earlier photo's of this rifle has a series of colored (blue, yellow, green, red, clear and grey tinted) lenses that can dialed into place as well as a peep sight whose iris can be adjusted for desired size like that on a camera. The screw on the tip of the cleaning or Clearing Rod has steel threads and a bronze or brass head. It is correctly threaded with the "Enfield Thread" and is an original component with the rifle. I never got a chance to try this rifle out on my 100 yard range before I sold it. For not much money either! Sigh...

white walker, I think you just won the internet. I wish I could come close to finding the rare guns in your collection.

LOL, hey thanks! I don't have the British stuff anymore though. I really liked it but I wanted to get back into the U.S. stuff and so I sold off the British stuff and put the money into the U.S. stuff. That's been my life... accumulating stuff...! LOLOL

Very nice and interesting rifles snekrz! Fantastic German weapons! What type of serious looking scope is that on the Yugo? Isn't it amazing how on that German Machinegun, the placement of a roller bearing on the bolt about doubled the rate of fire? Really efficient machine.

Thanks for the kind words. The mg42 I built from a couple of kits into a semi-auto. Its actually just as accurate as my k98. That's a Zrak 6 power scope. Very similar to the on -m76 scope the Bosnians fielded on their sniper rifles. I went with the 6 because it fit the rings and I need all the help I can get :)

Here is my current Military Surplus collection.

Russian M44 from Izhevsk in 1944.
Colt M1911A1 born in 1942.

Hipower, is that a real , select fire M-14? I suspect it is, since you live in the United States, where such things are allowed. I live in Illinois, but I plan on moving back to the United Stated some day......

Those are beautiful guns.

I notice the selector is halfway between semi and full auto. It that the three round burst.....LOL OK I'm kidding
