Im not a knife guy at all......

Ive got a Mission MPK Ti-12. From what I understand its a pretty decent knife. I put it for sale in the classifieds a few days ago with no luck. I was asking 370 buck shipped. Is this too much? Im not too saavy on knives and I really dont know what its worth. Is this a fair price, or should I keep the knife? From my understanding it is the knife that the Navy Seals carry but I may be mistaken.

Do any of you knife gurus have any info on this blade or advice as to what I should do with it? Its too pretty for me to use, I like beaters and Im pretty hard on metal. I tend to use them more for hammers than cutters.

What do yall think?

Thats a pretty specialized knife.
As for value there is purchase price, and after that it is what a buyer is willing to pay, and what a seller will accept. I know that is not much help.

I would have no use for such a knife and probably would not put one in my collection.

Try different venues to sell it. Wish you luck.

LOL

At least you honest!

Is it unused/uncarried with all the box/papers or has it been used with the box and papers thrown away? That will determine price.

Also, as Al says, it's pretty specialized knife and you may not have the best venue for it by posting in "Accessories".

Its unused/ Uncarried, with no box or papers. It was a gift from an old friend that served some time with the seals. He aquired it while serving a support billet on a seal team. He gave it to me years ago and its been sitting in my box of war because I dont want to ruin such a cool knife. But I dont need it or really want it anymore.

Try different venues to sell it.

Like what? Other forums?

If you can get a letter from your pal saying when/where it came from you may be asking the right price for a collector who collects real militaria. Provenance is critical in this case. So documenting that your buddy served in a support role with a NavSpecWar unit would make the price perhaps low.

Without a real provenance of having come from SEAL supply you need to knock $100 off of the knife.
