Time to buy more components! However, I lost the forum discount code from MBC.

Actually, I think Brad asked us not to post the post code on the open forum and especially of other forums so that someone passing by and not a true member of THR would not see it and possibly use it. He already had to change the code once because a few people posted it on other forums. This is a thank you from him to us for our loyalty. You really shouldn't post it on the open forum.

I asked Brad about it a while back. He said he was glad to help out THR members and the discount code promotes his business and increases his volume.

So you make it worse by putting a link right to the codes? Did you see the post my a Mod above yours? What is so hard about protecting the integrity of codes that are meant for THR members, not the general public? Ponting to a mistake doesn't make this mistake correct just like pointing to bad behavior doesn't justify other bad behavior.

Did not mean to cause problems. I removed the link from my post. Just surprised the other thread which is quite active is allowed to advertise the link for almost two years without anything being said about it.
 
Don't listen to what I say, I'm no one. I just remembered the owner of Missouri Bullets liked giving us a discount, appreciate our support but didn't want none members to get a benefit meant for us. That's all I was doing.

I actually removed the link before reading your post. I was outside shooting and thought about what I had done. I realized posting the link to the other thread was wrong and removed it because I thought it was the right thing to do. I then saw your post and and replied to it so you knew. I totally agree with keeping the code only for THR members and have others take advantage of what Brad has generously been offering us for some time.

That was the official announcement of the offer.

Folks who participate regularly in the forum would have seen it and know how to find it

Just giving it out to folks who won't bother to look for it is a bit rude to the manufacturers who have offered it to THR members who participate regularly

That code has been in effect long before <edit> I agree not publishing the code on open forum.

I can't stop you from making the information public if that is what you want to do, I'd just point out that it is less than gracious

This was not my intention. Mentioned only as reference (my bad). I just mentioned an existing on going thread, (which got edited out) yet the original ongoing thread does not get edited to remove information (which is referenced several times a week within that thread) that should not be made public. Seems strange to me. Enough said.
