It must be something fairly new or these guys would have been all over it.
I'll have to look them up myself. MBC is one of those companies that steadily supplied us with a quality product through the shortages and never gauged us.

If they are offering coated bullets I will have to check them out.

Sorry I can't offer any advise or experience to your question.

In general the coated bullets are cleaner and shoot the same. My Blue Bullets shoot the same as non coated lead but they dont smoke and leave the gun a bit less nasty. No lube to clean but still moderate carbon due to my loads being a bit light

HI-TEK coating was developed in Australia 20 years ago and has been used by

competitive handgun shooters since that time.

Somewhat relatively new to USA market.

More and more commercial casters are switching to these coatings over the

more conventional waxy lubes.

Clean Barrels, Low/No Smoke, Clean Hands and Equipment, what's not to like?

Some caster/suppliers sell the product to home casters so they can also

coat their own castings.:)

I've been using commercial coated projectiles and coating my own castings

and shooting them exclusively for the last year.

GOOD STUFF!:)

I haven't tried MBC specifically, but I have tried several of the coated lead bullets and they do reduce fouling and leading with no perceptible performance difference. You do have to flare your casing a bit more and be careful to set the bullet straight when seating or you shave the coating and that may affect accuracy a bit. For the minimal extra cost, I am a fan of coated bullets and am working through my plain lead til it's gone. If I find coated .32 bullets, I won't be using plain lead for any caliber.

Have not used the bullseye#1 however I just loaded up a batch of IDPA#1 coated bullets. They were very accurate......however I haven't had leading so bad in my 1911since the alox days. The whole barrel was coated after about 80 rounds. Loaded them up the same as my lubed home cast stuff, 4.8 bullseye with a 200 gr swc gets me about 890fps. Took an hour to clean it out of my barrel. My home cast lubesized stuff in that load has virtually no leading.

The MBC 9mm Luger bullets are two small of a diameter (.356") to run cleanly in my handguns. I wonder if the new coated offerings will cure this this?
