You don't watch British chatshows then. He's flaming.
Despite the dodgy accent he's Scottish and occassionally drifts back into a Scots accent when speaking to other Scots. I have the same thing after spending 5 years in California as a kid - I revert to Valley speak when speaking to Americans, very odd.
Anyway, he's openly gay, in a civil partnership and an active advocate for gay rights. A charming guy who'd be a great representative for pink pitols if he was American.

^ Well, mainly just going on the basis of LOOK alone (after a poster told Oleg of a hooplah that arose when some other group used straight people to represent gay ones in some sort of ad - and the gay community was upset because somehow it was obvious that the people in the ad were NOT gay....)
Anyhow, according to Wikipedia, Mr. Barrowman is "Scottish-American" - though he currently lives in the UK. Not sure how that citizenship designation would affect his RKBA here in the States....but also not sure if it would really be a deal-breaker if he COULDN'T own guns, if he supported the cause.
Of course, just because one is a gun aficionado on TV, does not mean one is in real life. Still, I agree with hopkin that he would make a great Pink Pistols rep.
