I wish there were more groups like Pink Pistols and JPFO. It would make people realize that self defense, 2nd amendment, freedom et. al. are not just "bubba" issues.

Nualle, I think that quote was on the mark, and better than any I have gotten in the press (none ). I think that is wasn't a bad article, either. Maybe some people will see it and think about the message, rather than rejecting it out of hand.

As to the quote: I stand behind it, of course, but I do wish he'd at least added the next sentence I said: "That's among the lessons of the black civil rights movement." Woulda come off less belligerent and with more perspective, IMO.

Serves me right, I suppose, for not planning out my sound bites ahead of time.
