Does anyone have any opinions about this shotgun? Such as effectiveness on game, recoil, weight and availability of ammo?

I'm thinking it might be the ticket for an older fellow.

Seems to be a nice ultralight all around shotgun. Some thoughts; 28 ga ammo is very hard to find, and has overlap with 20 ga. After patterning are you willing to limit game shots to under 25 yards? 20 ga with low base loads is far more versatile.
That being said my Grouse hunting buddy picked up a CZ S/S 28 ga. It is the sweetest little field gun ever.

After some more thought, I've decided a 20-gauge is the way to go. Versatility and ammo cost are the main factors. I'm now contemplating a Mossberg SA-20.

Could look at the TriStar Viper G2 semi's in 20ga. These are very good shotguns. Same price range and great CS, if needed.
