I have a 20 gage Mossberg bolt action with clip and was wondering if any one knows when they were made.

From the 30s on. Not rare, these are decent utility guns. Most make great slug shooters.

Market value is less than $100....

No serial number= pre 1968
Serial number on gun indicates post 1968 production.

Walnut stock= 1978 and earlier.
Hardwood stock= 1978 to 1986, there are some variations to this rule, Western Field marked, Ted Williams marked etc. these usually have hardwood even before 1978. HTH

Thank you all I did find a serial number on it and Yes I hear they do shoot slugs very well
