Need I say more?

If you have ever assembled an AR from parts then you understand you always have at LEAST one part leftover; grip, stock, something.... you ordered a kit or had a spare, whatever reason now you have extras.

Well that just can't be allowed so you must build another to see if you can use up all the parts. Unfortunately this time you had just one part left so, you need to build just ONE more :)

I accidentally bought the wrong caliber bore snake, and I need a rifle for it so it doesn't feel useless.

Also, incidentally, I know someone who kept a big bore rifle in their office safe. When asked why, they explained it was in case an elephant got loose and started causing trouble.

Some decades later, an elephant did get loose from a circus.

They were out of town, but as far as I know, that rifle was still at the office.

Old age and senilety(I forgot that I already had one honey honest). It seems to work most times. :neener::neener:

Just put it in the back of the gun safe and tell your wife it was always there....
That doesn't work if your gun safe is full:D

Possible excuses:
-I don't want that guns get into wrong hands!
-Keep "demand and supply" in balance?
