if you want to spend $125-$200 on a M4 VLTOR stock just so you can put a few batteries in the stock instead of a pocket or a pouch then thats fine i suppose.
If that's the only reason you're buying it, I'd agree. Although, just like Mr. $2k reddot above you're severely overpaying at that price. The standard Vltor stock body is $80.

This is a perfect example of why this thread sucks.

You just spent the last several pages crapping on everyone else's guns, and then something you like gets crapped on and you get all pouty. Freakin' Hilarious.

Actually... it's sarcasm... and also, go and collect my posts in this thread... what did I say... oh yeah... I was the one that said that it is someone else's gun and if they want to do something to it, it's their right and to leave them alone.

Thanks for reading through and getting the facts. Oh yeah, some people can't be bothered to do that because they like jumping to conclusions because it's convenient.

Nice way to take the high road. You just made a wrong turn.

The extra compartments for batteries are nice when you have a light on the rifle. If you don't have one, they're kinda useless. I suppose you could put weights in them if you wanted to balance out the rifle, or maybe a cleaning kit or some spare parts, if you can make them fit.

I think the coolest "extra compartment" idea is the core for the magpul grip that holds a spare bolt and firing pin. Break an extractor? Pop in your spare bolt, and you're back in the game.

Oh wait, we're talking "Most useless" here.
