mounting a scope on a steyr pro hunter

I just purchased a steyr pro Hunter in 280 cal. The only bases I can find is $75 does anyone know of a better option? Also I've heard thattall scope mounts are required is this true?

Medium to tall bases are required because of the bolt handle shape. I used Talley one-piece rings/bases - got them from SWFA for less than $40, IIRC.

Isn't much better but Midway lists Valdada IOR 2-Piece bases at $60. The Talley stuff appears to be sporadic in availability from them.
No idea if this will work or not on a Hunter. Might be worth an e-mail.
