MP5 - Red Dot Question

Hi All-

Does anyone know of a picatinny red dot that will cowitness with the MP5 iron sights? I've got an MFI low profile rail on it.

There’s not much room there… Maybe one of those race-gun sideways mounted C-More sights?

B&T comes to mind and may be a possibility. They were showing up with better mounting options when the red dots started getting better. I don't think they were QR though, and screwed down to the gun.

The ARMS claw mount was the best I found at the time. They gave you a rail vs the HK's couple of different versions of claw mounts.

This was mine at the time with an Aimpoint on one. You could still use the irons, but not even close to a cowitness, just through the mount.

The mount worked well too with a little Beeman 1x4.

I liked being able to R/R the optics. Just gives more options.

Good luck with your search. Might be a challenge since the HK's seem to have fallen out of favor for other things. It was hard enough getting what you wanted when they were on top.

ETA: This is what I was thinking of. Looks like its only meant to work with an Aimpoint Micro though.
