Accident? I think not. Your cat is in fact trying to kill you.

:D LOL!!!! I think you may be right! I have suspected that my cats have been trying to kill me for some time. They have run under my feet and tried to trip me several times, and send me flying into the wall. They would likely eat me afterwards.

And then there was that time he came at me with a broken beer bottle....... and the bottle of bleech that was mysteriously placed in the refridgerator next to the milk....... :uhoh:

Maybe I should start keeping that gun on my person at all times!!!!

Exactly. You should know by now that cats NEVER have accidents. Everything the cat does, the cat intends to do. Even falling off bookshelves or failing to land properly.

Who names their cat Leonard, FMJ fan ?

Hmmm... the round went through everything including the, ummm, distributer(?). The truck stopped. Yeah, I can kinda believe that.

Now as far as "hauling but (sic) towards town"...I just have to ask...how is that possible with no igniton source for the engine?
My guess would be second truck.

Actually Leonard was just the name that poped into my head. I get kind of tired of people trying to give their cats exotic "cool" sounding names. It was either going to be Leonard, or Laurence, so I could call him Larry. His sister's name is Janice. She is named after my second cousin's wife. I have also had a female cat named Steve once. We won't go into that one.

You know, the weird thing is that Lenny sitts and yells at me and looks distressed when ever I dry fire a revolver. It must make a metalic high pitched sound that he doesn't like. Or maybe he doesn't like that I'm paying attention to the gun and not him.

Orion, he said he used a different truck. Don't bust on the man's story.

Ankeny, no, that is pretty much what NSFW implies: nudity, profanity, violence. Think you're a prude, sorry.

Exactly....
Somewhere on the information super-highway, late at night, there are cats on cat-forums starting threads asking each other how to "off" their owners.

If it weren't for their inherent lack of opposable thumbs to manipulate safeties, hammers, slides, and triggers - we'd all be dead.

I have two of the beasts (Cleo and Cleo Junior) and I see them stare at my guns and KNOW they communicate telepathically.

They're watching me post this now, sitting there, between me and my CCW on the corner of my desk, blocking my access to it -
- I'm trying to hide this thread and this post from them, but I may not have been successful.

Must.... be..... more..... careful - and discreet... I have to go now - must run!

 :what:  :what:

This one very nearly blew us all up a couple weeks ago.
Got up on the stove and tripped one of the burner knob just enough to start a gas flow but not enough for the pilot to engage.

My wife smelled the gas before it got bad enough to go boom.

My dad once had a cat he named "Gray Davis" so that each morning when he went outside he could kick a liberal!!! LOL

A guy at my work had the same thing happen. Loaded shotgun on the ground, dog stepped on trigger area and depressed the safety off and pulled the trigger all in the same step. It didn't end well.

I like the tang safety on my double.

I'm glad that Leonard didn't cause serious damage. I do have a couple of cats, and knowing how cats will be cats, I keep everything that they are not allowed to mess with safely out of paw's reach.
Good luck with that. I've found cats will get into anything if they're bored or curious enough.

That's even funnier because the characters full name in Full Metal Jacket that I refered to was Leonard Lawrence! The drill Sgt. named him Gomer Pyle. The actors are actually R. Lee Ermey playing the Drill Sgt., and Vincent D'Onofrio palying Private Leonard Lawrence, AKA Private Pyle. I didn't know for a long time that D'Onofrio went on to play Det. Robert Goren in Law and Order Criminal intent. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vincent_D'Onofrio

Sorry for the hi jack. I just found the link to the cats' name very funny.

Hmmmm. That's kind of weird isn't it? Maybe I had that in the back of my mind somewhere and didn't realize it. Now as long as Leonard doesn't put a .308 in his mouth, I'll be happy.

"Don't fall Private Pyle, that would break my f@#*ing heart!"
